A curated design opportunity — not a discount.

The Founding Rooms Program is a portfolio-building initiative created to introduce Mae Design Studio to the Treasure Valley community while producing beautifully finished, spring-ready spaces.
​
Selected participants receive complimentary design services for one room in their home. In return, the completed space is professionally photographed and featured in Mae Design Studio’s portfolio and marketing.

about me
Hi, I’m Maegan, founder and principal designer of Mae Design Studio.
With over a decade of experience working in interior design across residential and commercial projects, I’m preparing to relocate to Idaho in 2026 to build a studio rooted in thoughtful, livable, and enduring design.

I believe great interiors support real life, families, routines, seasons, and change. My work blends clean, timeless aesthetics with warmth, texture, and function, always grounded in how a space is truly used.

While much of my professional experience has been developed through work with other design firms, I’m intentionally building a portfolio under Mae Design Studio that reflects my personal approach and design values. The Founding Rooms Program allows me to do this thoughtfully — through real homes, real people, and real design solutions.

Not all Founding Rooms are located in Idaho, but the work is designed with a clear focus on the way people live here: grounded, functional, and built to last.
This isn’t about rushing or cutting corners. It’s about starting well, with care and integrity, and growing the studio the right way.
